About the photographer Jaimie Brouillard
I was born and raised in a small city in northern Ontario and from a very young age always loved the arts. In my last year of high school my Dad gave me one of my Grandads old SLR cameras and with it I found my love for photography. Long before digital photography I started developing film and tray processing enlargements in a darkroom we built for me in the basement of my parents home.
After high school I moved to London, Ontario where I attended and graduated from a three year advanced photography program at Fanshawe College. After college I stayed in London for over a decade where I worked in serveral different areas of the photography industry. Before leaving London I was lucky enough to manage a very successful studio for an amazing photographer who I was fortunate enough to have as my mentor.
In 2007 my husband and I moved to the Quinte area where I decided it was time that I work for myself under my own name. A lot has changed for us since then, including having our two beautiful kids and building an addition on our home for my studio and workspace (in the country in Frankford, ON).
As a professional in my field as well as a wife and mother I know how important life and loved ones are and how fleeting time and life can be. My goal is creatively capturing memories and moments in time for my clients that will last a lifetime. Please feel free to contact me for your specific photography needs!
